The R_volution PlayerMini's Dolby Vision VS10 video processing engine optimizes image quality for SDR, HDR and Dolby Vision. It improves conversion quality and minimizes banding thanks to 12-bit video processing. Even older TVs without Dolby Vision benefit from this technology.
HDR10+
The PlayerMini is compatible with HDR10+ technology, which builds on HDR10 and further enhances the viewing experience. HDR10+ signals the dynamic range scene by scene or frame by frame, providing scene characteristics between light and dark with minimal metadata.
This preserves important details. Displays can render images more realistically and in line with the creator's intent. While HDR10 uses static tone mapping, HDR10+ uses dynamic tone mapping to optimize each scene, increasing brightness individually and adjusting contrast.

If you have a R_volution NAS, the PlayerMini will automatically detect it. It will create the R_video collection and identify your films - all fully automatic and easy. The PlayerMini is also compatible with NAS devices of all brands, but in this case you will have to manually configure the access paths to your folders with films, series and concerts.

Many media players today output a video signal at 24,000 fps (frames per second). Especially with projectors and laser TVs, the conversion from 23.976 Hz to 24 Hz leads to image dropouts and stuttering.
