Whether it's powerful explosions and thunderous impacts in an action-packed Hollywood blockbuster, or the depth of a double bass from your favorite artist: the powerful Gold W12 subwoofer is ready. Inside is a 12" (305 mm) long-throw driver, which is supported by a pair of Auxiliary Bass Radiators ( ABR ) and delivers real top performance with 600 watts of Class D amplification.

With a lower limit frequency of 20 Hertz, music can not only be heard and experienced, but also physically felt. And to ensure that this experience works perfectly in every room, the Gold W12 has a whole range of fine-tuning options, as well as an automatic, microphone-supported position correction system ( APC ).

The subwoofer can be configured either via the innovative control panel on the top of the cabinet, or via the ' SubConnect ' software developed by Monitor Audio. Settings offer four fully configurable equalizer presets per input, including modes for Flat/Music/Movie and Impact settings. Fine tuning can be done by adjusting the frequency, slope, crossover frequency and equalizer filter for each preset. Night mode actively reduces the dynamic range of louder sections to suit the level desired by the listener.
