Krix Hyperphonix A45

The Krix Hyperphonix A45 can be used as either a wall or ceiling speaker. Powerful film effects are child's play with this speaker. From roaring dinosaurs overhead to helicopter blades crashing into steel buildings.

The latest sound formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X require such speakers. The Krix Hyperphonix A45 creates dynamic, realistic and immersive sound. The compact Hyperphonix 45 speaker excels at directing these effects to the main seating area, while also offering incredible output power and sound pressure.

The Krix Hyperphonix 45 can be installed vertically or horizontally and is best suited for locations where the speaker would normally be well off-axis from the main listening position.

These positions are found in almost all home theaters, such as front wide, front high, front high, rear high, and rear surround. By aligning the baffle with the seating position, the high frequency response is improved and significantly less equalization is required.

The Hyperphonix 45 can also be installed "flat" against the wall if the speaker positions are more on axis with the seating (e.g. side surrounds - see technical drawing for rear mounting option). The speaker can also be permanently mounted in a corner.

Perfect for home theater applications, the Hyperphonix 45 features a newly developed 90 x 90 Krix short-throw waveguide that significantly improves dispersion characteristics and increases efficiency for very high output levels. The 165mm woofer features a huge 50mm voice coil designed for high fidelity and high output applications.

The Hyperphonix 45s come as a left and right pair so they will be symmetrically spaced in your room. Each speaker comes with a black fabric grille and mounting bracket so the speaker not only looks great but is also easy to install.
