Whether it's about powerful explosions and thunderous impacts in an action-packed Hollywood blockbuster, or the depth of a double bass from your favorite artist: the powerful Gold W12 subwoofer is ready. Inside it is a 12" (305 mm) long-throw driver, which is supported by a pair of Auxiliary Bass Radiators ( ABR ) and achieves real top performance with 600 watts of Class D amplification.

With a lower limit frequency of 20 Hertz, music cannot be heard and experienced, but can also be felt physically. And to ensure that this experience works perfectly in every room, the Gold W12 has a whole range of fine-tuning options, as well as an automatic, microphone-based position correction system ( APC ).

The subwoofer can be configured either using the innovative control panel on the top of the housing, or using the ' SubConnect ' software developed by Monitor Audio. The settings offer four fully configurable equalizer presets per input, including Flat/Music/Movie and Impact settings modes. Fine-tuning can be done by adjusting the frequency, slope, crossover frequency and equalizer filter for each preset. Night mode actively reduces the dynamic range of louder sections according to the level desired by the listener.
