The R_volution NAS offers secure storage thanks to RAID 5 technology. If a drive fails, data is automatically rebuilt to a hot spare drive, so no content is lost. You can replace the failed drive without turning off the server or interrupting playback.

Movies, music and videos are streamed to all R_volution players in the house via your home network. Once your media is stored on the NAS, you can instantly play it on any R_volution player throughout the house.

RAID 5 explained: RAID 5 uses block-level striping with distributed parity. If a drive fails, the data is recovered using distributed parity, so no data is lost. RAID 5 requires at least three drives to function optimally.
