The GrandCinema Night Sky Edgefree home cinema recessed ceiling screen can be ideally integrated into suspended ceilings or other housing shapes. The tension cable system contributes to an excellent flatness of the projection screen. The best possible flatness can only be achieved when the fabric is fully extended. The minimum ceiling installation depth is 14 cm. Variable height adjustment can be made using the threaded rods supplied. The right-hand screen motor has a continuously adjustable limit switch including overheating protection.

Thanks to its special surface, the Night Sky cloth can be used in rooms with a lot of ambient light as well as in darkened rooms. The silver-gray ALR cloth absorbs ambient light, creates a deep black level and improves contrast
as well as color rendering. The viewing angle is 100°. Image homogeneity is ensured by the opaque vinyl cloth. The Night Sky cloth is available in two versions. On the one hand Edge Free (without border), on the other hand with a black border and advance, which delivers even better image quality and higher-contrast image reproduction. The cloth is unrolled on the front of the housing.

With this screen model, small tolerances in dimensions and image geometry are possible due to the tension of the cloth. This is not a production error, but is due to the balanced flatness of the model. Due to the stretchability of the cloths, there may be changes in the height and width of the cloth. Do not expose canvases to thermal stress such as sun, heating or rooms with strongly fluctuating temperatures, as this can cause the canvas fabric to deform! It is therefore advisable to always roll up canvases after use.
