Metal layer noise dissipation system (NDS)

The AQ Noise Dissipation System is essential to block radio frequency (RF) interference that could otherwise affect the ground of the device. While conventional shielding simply passes the noise to the component ground, distorting the signal, the NDS reflects the majority of this interference, preventing it from reaching the ground plane.

Solid silver-plated conductors reduce jitter and interference because high frequency signals travel primarily across the surface of the conductor. These are made from high purity silver, bringing the quality close to that of a pure silver cable, but at a more cost-effective price.

Cold-welded, gold-plated connector

This style of connector allows for a solderless connection, eliminating a common cause of interference. The ferrules are stamped, not machined, to keep distortion to a minimum.

Rigid cell foam insulation preserves the critical geometry of the conductors and minimizes energy absorption. Nitrogen injections create air pockets that are similar to air and do not absorb energy.

This reduces distortion and the rigidity of the material keeps the conductors in constant position, stabilizing the impedance and reducing further distortion.
