The Denon AVC-X4800H was developed and manufactured in Japan, like many good AV products. It delivers Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and Auro-3D. The X4800 can also supply larger speaker systems and, above all, larger living areas with breathtaking 3D sound.
The Denon AVC-X4800H 9.4 AV amplifier is the entry into Denon's premium upper class. With its newly developed mono-block power amplifiers, it clearly stands out from its smaller model, the Denon AVC-X3800H. There are of course even more features that make the AV powerhouse so interesting.
The Denon AVC-X4800H is an advanced AV receiver that allows you to play the sound from your TV in all zones of your home. With this receiver, you can enjoy Dolby Atmos in the living room while playing the same source in stereo in the office. The AVC-X4800H supports both HDMI and other digital sources for Zone 2, allowing for flexible use.
Setting up the AVC-X4800H is simple and user-friendly. As soon as you connect your TV to the receiver via HDMI, the Denon Installation Wizard appears on the screen. This guides you through the setup step by step. The speaker connections are color-coded and arranged horizontally to simplify installation.
The Denon AVC-X4800H automatically names the HDMI inputs as soon as a source is connected. However, you also have the option to name the HDMI inputs yourself to allow for individual naming. Overall, the AVC-X4800H offers advanced technologies combined with easy setup.
The Denon AVC-X4800H is a powerful 9-channel amplifier. Discrete high-current amplifiers deliver up to 125W per channel (at 8 ohms, 20-20kHz, THD 0.05%) for more refined sound in large rooms. This power also allows you to drive larger speakers.
Advanced 8K home theater & 8K video is supported on all seven HDMI inputs and two of the three outputs. With HLG, HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dynamic HDR Pass-Through, you don't have to worry about video compatibility or picture quality. The new HDMI boards are an important part of the innovations in the Denon AVC-X4800H. At the beginning of the market launch of the X4700H, there were some technical problems here, which will almost certainly not be repeated with the successor.
